Why Groups Choose MediSync

The "standard operating procedure" for physicians who own a medical group is to hire professional managers to help them run it.

At MediSync we believe that we have a better solution for certain, ambitious medical groups. Our model is that your medical group hires our company as its management team. We will assign highly experienced managers solely to your group. Other resources - like our computer department - are shared by several groups (but each group’s data is kept separate and apart).

Why try something new? These are a few of the reasons why our current medical group partners chose MediSync:

  1. The individual doctors in the group constantly, year after year, have had higher personal incomes.
  2. Our partner medical groups grow in size and quality. We just helped one partner group add additional physicians. The four finalists were all Chief Residents and all wanted to join this group over other groups in the community.
  3. We help medical groups get attention and respect in the larger community, including the attention of insurance payers during contract negotiations.
  4. MediSync can afford more sophisticated experts in more fields than almost any group can. We have highly seasoned experts in information technology, accounting, finance, quality improvement, marketing and communications, etc. One of our on-staff physicians has a half time job just "inventing" new tools. His latest "invention" increased the income of each of our physician partners by nearly $30,000 per year.
  5. Physicians and medical practices must have more sophisticated technology in order to really succeed. You can’t play on the same field with insurance companies if you don’t have the data or know the facts. Technology is expensive and very complicated. (There are some less expensive solutions but they often perform less well.)
  6. Most physician groups just do not have the resources to do the proper research about which systems to purchases, do not have the money to make a purchase, cannot afford to correctly implement technologies that are purchased, and cannot afford the ongoing operating costs of running the information systems that they need.
  7. Our doctors wanted to know that they had managers who were as capable and experienced as the leaders of the local employers who fund healthcare and the local insurance companies who often play such a major role.
  8. We are passionately committed to excellence and success.
